And Now, Back to You ⎼ B.K. Borison

Jackson Clark and Delilah Stewart have had their fair share of run-ins over the years, often ending in disaster. While Jackson thrives on routine and organization from the comfort of his radio booth, Delilah loves the spontaneity and adventure out in the field. When they’re partnered against their will to cover the snowstorm of the century, they find themselves scrambling to figure out how to work together.

Rating: 5 out of 5.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again and again and again. Every B.K. Borison book is a love letter to rom-com movies, and this book is no exception. The Heartstrings series is inspired by the Holy Ephron Trinity (Sleepless in Seattle, When Harry Met Sally, and You’ve Got Mail). To love the worlds of Nora Ephron is to proclaim loudly into the void: “I want to be in love in a movie.” And Borison understands that on a molecular level. How can I tell? Every single one of her books makes me feel exactly like I did the first time I watched You’ve Got Mail. You’re dropped into a world that makes you immediately nostalgic, with characters who are larger than life in the most charming and ridiculous ways.

In this reimagining of When Harry Met Sally, we have two meteorologists: bright and chaotic Delilah and extremely particular Jackson. Delilah works for the local TV news station while Jackson works at the local radio station. They start as a bickering pair forced to work together, and find themselves thrown together for a long weekend road trip to combine their meteorologist capabilities and report on a huge incoming winter storm. There’s forced proximity, mild irritability, childlike joy, impeccable banter, and some sweet and spicy scenes.

This is a fantastic second book in the series, and I was so excited to be back in the 101.6 LITE FM world with Aiden and Maggie, and to get glimpses of Lucie. The station’s community dynamic is so sweet, and I tried to indulge in every moment I got.

I’d recommend this book to literally anyone and everyone, and I will continue to do so long after the book is published! It’s a perfect balance of light romance and real, well-developed main characters that’ll create the perfect amount of emotional damage. Read this series!!

Thanks to Berkley for the free book in exchange for an honest review!
